Bridgewater Triangle
June 2025 - November 2025
We devised and delivered an engagement programme for a Reserved Matters Application and Section 73 Application for this site at the edge of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park for London Legacy Development Corporation and Ballymore. Recognising that some parameters were already set through the outline planning permission, we focused feedback on areas where the community could genuinely shape outcomes through a clear scope of influence.

About the project
This site has not been accessible to the public since the Olympic Games, therefore there was some work to do to raise awareness of where this site is and what the changes would entail.
Utilising one-to-one conversations, school workshops, walk and talks, public events, tag-on activities and an online platform, we focused on gathering insights on the type of public realm people wanted to see - including ideas for playful features, access and movement and community uses.
The walk and talks were particularly important to allow us to talk about changes in context where people were able to locate ideas, designs and proposals in specific places.
Opening up this space for more homes and better landscape spaces, improved access to the waterways and lots of play opportunities is welcomed by local people, including our team as our studio is right next to the site.
