Carpenters School

As part of the masterplan for Carpenters Estate we worked on the brief writing stage for Carpenters School where we involved every child, member of staff and parents who wanted to participate in creating a brief for their new school. We developed a set of workshops to capture students existing experience of the school and their priorities for a new school and delivered it to every class in collaboration with the teaching staff across 2 days. Staff were engaged in a training session to deliver the workshop and also provided with opportuities to input their own feedback. We turned all the insight into a short animation setting out the recipe for a great school for this community and a longer report that captured all the richness of our feedback.
