Carpenters School

As part of the masterplan for Carpenters Estate, we led the brief-writing stage for Carpenters School, involving every student, staff member, and parent who wanted to contribute to shaping the vision for their new school. We designed a series of workshops to capture students’ current experiences of the school and their priorities for a new one. These workshops were delivered to every class over two days in collaboration with teaching staff. Staff also took part in a dedicated training session to support delivery, and were given opportunities to share their own feedback. All of the insights were brought together into a short animation — a “recipe for a great school” tailored to this community — alongside a detailed report that captured the full richness of the feedback.
