Gospel Oak & Haverstock Community Vision

August 2020 - November 2021

We supported Camden Council to host a set of community conversations to shape a vision for how Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) and Section 106 money should be spent across two Wards. Our work started with a detailed analysis of the demographics and ward profile so that we could tailor our approach to best suit the audience; a paid steering group was set up by the client to input and help shape our engagement strategy following our research stage.

About the project

We supported Camden Council to host a set of community conversations to shape a vision for how Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) and Section 106 money should be spent across two Wards. Our work started with a detailed analysis of the demographics and ward profile so that we could tailor our approach to best suit the audience; a paid steering group was set up by the client to input and help shape our engagement strategy following our research stage. The detailed plan led to a Community Vision that is now a Supplementary Planning Document. The engagement plan included a mix of in persons events and workshops, on street pop ups, tag-ons at community events and activities, targeted activities with faith groups, young people sessions all augmented with digital feedback forms and online workshops.
