Grosvenor Square

We ran an extensive engagement programme for both the local community and a wider London audience to understand their priorities for Grosvenor Square. Throughout the pandemic, we hosted a series of online talks featuring experts from various fields to explore what priorities a new type of London Square should have. Topics included planting, play, activities, and sustainability. These broad-reaching events were combined with more intimate local conversations focused on key themes, delivered through hands-on workshops using prompts and activity packs to encourage engaging sessions. All feedback was used to shape a set of community priorities for the design team to incorporate into emerging plans. These priorities were then presented through full-scale installations of planting and seating to bring some of the ideas to life.
